ScottYilek: My first Saramago read; I was impressed. The story is not new (a plague strikes, spreads, the shit hits the fan). What really sets this book apart is the account of the quarantined and the frequent insights into life. I highly recommend reading this book. (added at 10:05:37 PM on 08/30/06)
