MikeCa: I am not done reading it, but this book is damned hilarious. Definate classic, as it already is. (added at 11:34:46 PM on 07/09/05)

ScottYilek: Starts of strong, gets pretty mediocre in the middle, and then finishes well for the last 100 pages or so. This book overall is written excellently and the characters are certainly unique and amusing. However, I admit that I lost a lot of interest for a while in the middle of the book and had to really fight to finish. Imagine an 8 hour episode of hogan's heroes... MikeCa: Interesting take on the middle, I felt pretty engaged through the entire book (added at 03:21:52 PM on 03/07/06)

Icarus: I tried to read this - got through 100 pages or so. It appears to be a dark, subversive, and funny portrayal of the war. I was not finding it funny - outside of an occasional line here and there. The characterization and what went for a story were too flimsy to make me really care to read any further.
