ScottYilek: I decided to dip into the wealth of good nonfiction out there for the first time this year. This book had favorable reviews and the story reminded me of a friend of mine, so I decided to give it a try. Overall, it was an interesting story and the sub-stories were also interesting (especially the author's account of his ill-advised solo mountain climb). I was happy with the book.
