ScottYilek: I know this book is supposed to be amazing; I know Mr. Marquez won the nobel prize for literature. But, this book is really not very good. This is a long, rambling, random book which I sadly took almost nothing away from. The writing is beautiful, despite being a translation, and the whole book is a masterpiece in creativitiy. Unfortunately, the stories just aren't that interesting. In fact, I almost gave up reading it and moved on to something else. I was quite disappointed. (added at 11:00:25 AM on 06/26/06)
