ScottYilek: This winner of the Pen/Faulkner is very well-written, sad, and frustrating. Without giving away too much, I'll just say that it might have been a 5 star rating from me had the writer not made the main character make a stupid decision which I also found quite out of character. This particular turn of events ruined the last 100 pages for me, and ultimately left a sour taste in my mouth. (added at 10:01:57 PM on 02/25/06)
