Earthshaking and revolutionary in 1961, rather dated now, sometimes fascinating, sometimes boring and sometimes annoying. Much of the book is Heinlein doing what he loves to do, which is pontificate and make deliberately provocative statements through his characters. But there are flashes of brilliance too.
