To add a SuggestedCategory
- Search to see if it already exists. We don't want lots of duplicate pages. Try this search:
- If it does not exist, feel free to add it; just type the name of the SuggestedCategory you'd like to add in the box below and click "CreatePage". For more information on creating and navigating pages you can see HowToUseWiki.
- Once you have created a page, it will simply appear in the list above. If you would like to add information about the page, click on its name in the list and edit and save the text.

- Find items with missing values to help fix them!
- Configure this category. Change which fields this category has, or how they are displayed.

ScottYilek: Just a question... why are we doing suggested category? Why don't we just make them when we think of them?! This IS a wiki... let chaos reign. (added at 01:03:39 AM on 07/30/04)
DanFr: We CAN just make them. I just didn't want a bunch of empty categories. Maybe I shouldn't worry about that? If you want to make one, go ahead! (added at 12:18:23 AM on 08/03/04)
DanFr: Another alternative is to have a 'staging area' for categories, where they live before they become a 'Category' (i.e., get in the sidebar). Perhaps they have to get 10 items first, or something? (added at 10:26:42 AM on 08/03/04)
Lando: I have created TV-Show category (Here). How can I add that category in "Categories:"-listing, which is seen in left? Or do I have to wait that someadministrator does that? (added at 04:26:39 AM on 01/06/06)
css1971: How about "aging" old or unused categories. If nobody uses them, they don't care about them. I think individual items should be aged as well. (added at 06:10:30 PM on 09/18/06)
